Cooking Classes at The Tides Zihuatanejo

A Culinary Mexico Vacation Experience Like No Other

Our cooking classes introduce guests, both novice and experienced cooks, to the art of Mexican cuisine. Designed by the Resort's Executive Chef Paco Isordia, the program offers guests a hands-on learning experience.

At 9:00 AM, you will meet the Executive Chef in the resort’s lobby and then be transported to the town market for an personalized tour. See and learn the Spanish names of the different herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables, while you shop for the ingredients of a delicious Mexican meal.

Then back to The Tides Zihuatanejo to prepare a special dish in a beautiful beachside setting. You may participate in preparing the meal or just take notes of the cooking instructions. While you feast on your creation, you may want to review some of the new Spanish expressions you have learned today. You will receive your recipe and detailed explanations to take home with you.
